My Software Project launches its first free trial for software developers
TORONTO, March 25 - 2008 – After only one week since the official launch of its main website, My Software Project announced that it will be providing a free no-obligation
one month trial of its subscription-based Bronze Membership program. “Our website is still in its infancy, and we are eager to show it off to the world. What better way to
accomplish this than offering a one month free trial of our services?” said My Software Project CEO Jim Hlad.
My Software Project is a website which, like the popular RentACoder.com website, aims to bring together software buyers (individuals that have software projects) with software
developers (individuals who make software). Buyers are able to post descriptions of their projects on the My Software website free of charge, and software developers are able to
advertise for this audience of software buyers for a low monthly fee. But Mr. Hlad wants software developers to really understand what this service can do for their business: “We
could talk and talk until the cows come home about how great our service is for helping software developers find projects to work on, and what our service could do for their business.
But we think it would be more instructive to actually show software developers what this service could do for them by giving them a bunch of tokens (for free) and letting them
learn, in a very hands-on kind of way, what we can do for them”.
According to Mr. Hlad, the free trial period (which will last for a couple of months) will give software developers who sign up at the website a free one month trial of the Bronze Membership
(ie: software developers will receive 10 “tokens” which they can use to place advertisements on the project pages of the software buyers). After the one month has expired, software developers
must then purchase a full membership (either Gold, Silver, or Bronze) in order to continue receiving tokens on a monthly basis.
